Our Story

Charlie & James was started by a stay-at-home wife and mother, Meggan Anthony. The name “Charlie & James” comes from both of her grandfathers’ first names, keeping her passion for family at the forefront of her business. Her desire is to offer everyday products for the entire family and personalized gifts for all occasions. She is also excited to use this space to share her thoughts through the Charlie & James Blog.

Words from the owner:

My original idea was to focus on mamas and babies, which is very much why Charlie & James was created. When I had my first son, I was on the lookout for safer products to use with him. I did a lot of research and wanted to offer other moms a place to find the same products I had searched for. I’ve always loved personalized baby clothes and accessories! So, from baby care products and monogrammed outfits to new baby gift baskets, my passion has always been babies and mamas.
As we’ve grown — and as our family has grown with the addition of our second son — my vision for Charlie & James has expanded, too. I hope to be a place where moms can come for some of their needs as well. Whether it’s during pregnancy or postpartum, our products are ones you can feel good about using. Family is the most important thing to me, and where there’s a mama and baby, there’s also a dad! My goal for Charlie & James is to have something that everyone in the family can enjoy.
In addition to being centered around the family and their everyday needs, I also have a passion for writing. I’m so excited to use this space as an outlet to share my thoughts, recipes, and products we love to use in our own home. I hope you’ll follow along as I share little bits of our life on the Charlie & James Blog.

Meggan lives in South Georgia with her husband, Christopher, and their two sons, Asher and Liam. In their spare time, they love going for golf cart rides in the country, cooking and grilling meals together, and traveling.
